Onnetou is known as a representative lake as well as Lake Furen. It is a blackish water lake with a circumference of 15km surrounded by a pine grove. It reaches to the Nemuro seashore. When the tide is out, it becomes a sandbank, and the scene that fishermen can be seen busily gathering seashells. This is a typical scene in Nemruo. It is very close to Lake Furen, Syunkunitai and Nemuro Camping Park.

* Onnetou	It takes 15 minutes by bus on the Attoko Line leaving from the Nemuro Station Terminal next to the JR Nemuro Station. Please get off at Onnetou.
