When the season of dense fog, peculiar to Nemuro, finishes, Fall sunny days start.

Nemuro Crab Festival is held in early September.
Nemuro Sanma (saury) Festival is held at the end of September.
Nemuro Sangyou (industrial) Festival is held in early October.

As The Nemuro Peninsula is surrounded by the sea, you can see the Pacific Sea in the south and the Sea of Okhotsk in the north at the same time.

If you are lucky, you may be able to spot seals sleeping on the rocky seashore.
